Warzone 2 looks like it’s releasing alongside God of War Ragnarök & More Latest News Here – Up Jobs

Warzone 2’s release date has seemingly been revealed via what is reportedly an internal Activision document.

First posted to the r/classicwow subreddit (spotted by Charlie Intel), the document reportedly lists Activision Blizzard‘s release schedule for the remainder of the year, including Warzone 2.

According to the document, Warzone 2.0, which is listed internally as COD Warzone 2, will launch on November 16. That’s the same day as PlayStation‘s big Christmas game, God of War Ragnarok.

It’s worth noting that the document lists Modern Warfare 2 as “Cortez”, which is the game’s internal codename. It also lists the launch time as October 27 at 9 PM. This is when the game will launch in the US on the east coast.

The document also seemingly reveals the “pre-purchase” date for Diablo IV, Blizzard‘s next entry in the RPG franchise, which will seemingly coincide with The Game Awards.

The publisher confirmed in April that a new free-to-play Warzone experience was being built from the ground-up alongside Modern Warfare 2, led by developer Infinity Ward.

Featuring “a new sandbox mode and the brand-new playspace”, Warzone 2.0 will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Battle.net and Steam.

Try Hard Guides recently published an image that’s claimed to reveal Warzone 2’s main map, including all of its points of interest and several notable features, such as a significant body of water in which players can swim.

As first reported by VGC in September 2021, Warzone 2’s map will include various classic points of interest, including areas based on popular multiplayer maps from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2.

These will reportedly include Highrise, Quarry, Terminal and Afghan.
