Ukraine: White House backs Italy's efforts to stop war – English & More News Here

(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 6 – United States President Joe Biden’s
administration backs the efforts of its allies and companions to
finish the war in Ukraine, together with Italy’s, a White House
spokesperson has informed ANSA.
   
The spokesperson was responding to a query concerning the US
administration’s view of the Italian 4-stage peace plan for
Ukraine.
   
The plan would function a ceasefire, talks on Ukraine’s
‘worldwide standing’, i.e. whether or not it’s impartial, a bilateral
settlement between Kyiv and Moscow on the contested areas of
Crimea and Donbass, and a multilateral settlement on peace and
safety in Europe.
   
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has described the plan as
“not serious”. (ANSA).
