Rheinmetall Delivers 3,000 Military Vehicles to Germany & More News Here

German protection producer Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles (RMMV) introduced that it has delivered 3,000 unprotected transport autos (UTVs) to the German navy.

The supply was a part of a 2017 contract to produce 2,000 UTVs able to carrying up to 15 tons (30,000 kilos) of payload.

Germany obtained 1,000 greater than requested within the authentic settlement.

According to the corporate, the transport car has already confirmed its operational effectiveness in German military logistics.

“The [UTV] is a showpiece project that paved the way for new procurement methods,” Rheinmetall chairman Michael Wittlinger stated in a press launch. “Financed by the German government’s pandemic recovery package, additional vehicles were called-off and delivered.”
