Peruvian singer and actor Diego Bertie died at fall from a 14th floor in Lima, capital of Peru, confirmed the General Fire Department. She was 54 years old.
As reported, without offering further details, the artist fell from the top of his building, located in the Lima district of Miraflores, arriving lifeless at the hospital.
Carlos Sánchez, official manager of Diego Bertie, said in communication with ATV, he declared himself dismayed.
“The director of the hospital has already confirmed his death. I am in total shock because Diego is a noble soul, cute, beautiful, an A1 artist. I have had to share a beautiful time with him, which is his return to music. I’m in shock, I don’t know what else to say. I want to talk to his family, no one answers the phone, “he commented, quite affected.
Christian Meier, actor Bertie’s friend and acting partner, mourned his death during a note on Twitter. “As a boy I wanted to be an actor for you. I am an actor for you. I always loved you, I always admired you. Too soon Diego. With you there is no end, only a long way to go…”.
Bertie starred in series, soap operas, movies, musicals, and plays. In Venezuelan telenovela “Amantes de luna full” (2000) for Venevisión and “Vale todo” (2002) for Rede Globo and Telemundo.
In 2005 he participated in the Peruvian films “A Shadow in Front”, “Pirates in Callao” and in the Bolivian “The Andes do not believe in God”, Wikipedia reviews.
Bertie starred in the Colombian telenovela produced by Caracol Television, “La ex”, in 2006, alongside Ruddy Rodríguez. The following year she participated in an episode of “Final Time” (Fox)
In 2008 he participated in the Latin American version of “Desperate Housewives: Amas de casa desesperadas” as Antonio.
In 2009, he co-starred in the telenovela “Bermúdez”, produced and broadcast by Caracol Television. The following year, she returned to Peru, where she starred in “The successful Gomes” for Frequency Latina.
In 2015 he joined the Peruvian series “Al fondo hay lugar”, a year later in the Peruvian telenovela “The return of Lucas”, and since 2017 he was part of the cast of the Peruvian series “De return to the neighborhood”.
