Authorities reported the discovery of four people massacred inside a truck on the North Highway with 222nd Street, in the north of Bogotá.
According to preliminary information, the victims, aboard a Toyota Prado, are three men and one woman, who had signs of torture.
The fact, which generated terror among the residents of the sector, according to information known by SEMANA, would be due to a settling of accounts and a clear message that is being given between gangs that would be disputing the control of areas for illegal businesses, especially micro-trafficking.
This conclusion is given because the bodies had been murdered in another area of the city and were later moved to 222nd Street. This was to leave the message. The bodies were taken to Forensic Medicine for recognition, after a survey that took more than four hours.
So far, the mayor Claudia López has not commented on what happened.
It was the residents of the area who alerted the authorities, around 10:00 at night, of a suspicious vehicle parked at the scene, thinking it was a car bomb. Upon verification, the bodies were found.
Initially, the Usaquén quadrant went to the scene of the events and was able to verify that they were not explosives. Later, when checking the vehicle, they found the dead bodies; one of them had a garbage bag on his head, but they were not wrapped, as was initially suggested. In the front part there were two bodies and in the trunk of the vehicle two more. There was also another bag containing clothes.

The bodies found correspond to people of approximately 25 years of age. According to the statement of Colonel Édgar Cárdenas, commander of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police, it was by looking through the windows that the officers found the bodies.
