COVID-19: Italy registers 42,249 new cases, 115 more deaths – English & More News Here

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 11 – Italy has recorded 42,249 new
COVID-19 circumstances and 115 coronavirus-linked deaths within the final
24-hour interval, the well being ministry stated on Wednesday.
   
That was down from the 56,015 new circumstances and 158 deaths reported
on Tuesday.
   
The ministry stated 294,611 COVID assessments had been completed in Italy in
the final 24 hours and the positivity price was 14.3%, in comparison with
371,221 assessments and a positivity price of 15% on Tuesday.
   
It stated 338 COVID sufferers have been in intensive care in Italy, 20
fewer than on Tuesday.
   
It stated 8,412 coronavirus victims have been in atypical
hospital-ward beds, a drop of 167. (ANSA).
