A group of teenagers managed to escape from their captor, before being sold into prostitution in Trinidad and Tobago. The incident occurred in Delta Amacuro.

The situation kept the population on alert, after a 13-year-old girl disobeyed her parents and “to enjoy her freedom” heeded a proposal for a “better future on the island.”

The individual, nicknamed “Bisoco”, has a criminal record and requested for “human trafficking”, kept her in the company of seven other adolescents with the alleged purpose of illegally transferring them to Trinidad and Tobago, reports 800 Noticias on its website.

The “Bisoco” retained them to “negotiate” them to engage in prostitution. For about 20 days, the young women spent six days in a house located in La Florida, where they managed to escape, but were recaptured by the criminal, who moved them to another community while the “business” was completed.

Days later, three of the girls took advantage of the fact that their captor was drunk and escaped through the window. The trio arrived at the house of the 13-year-old girl and alerted her relatives and authorities about the situation.

Security forces began investigations and found the whereabouts of JR Núñez Barrios, 39, nicknamed “Bisoco.”
