Carlos Lara was out of his profession for three years, a suspension took him out of the activity he loves so much. In July 2022, the Venezuelan jockey returned to the tracks of the V Centenario racetrack in the Dominican Republic.
That day of his return he could not enter the winners’ enclosure. But on July 16, the jockey began a winning streak that now reaches six conquests.
“I was suspended for three years, I was out of equestrian activity for that time, but since it is what I love, I am back here. In January of this year I began to gallop, I reappeared on July 9, he came second in a race and then fourth”, were the first words of a very emotional Carlos Lara.
“So far in July I have won five races, I plan to return to my country to ride in the Caribbean Equestrian Series, if God allows it”, confessed the Creole.
