Vasco da Costa: “This government is perverse”
Vasco da Costa, who has been arrested on several occasions, the last one in 2018, was one of the political prisoners who received the “pardon” decreed by the Maduro government on September 1, 2020.
«I did not expect this pardon. It’s a government game. My principles are much stronger. I have seen many more things and I know how to do certain things because this government is wicked and it showed it in this monstrous kidnapping that we had,” said the political scientist on that occasion.
He denounced that he suffered torture during his detention at the Ramo Verde National Center for Military Processors, in the state of Miranda.
«We were kidnapped, they tortured us, all this is an infamy. We left in freedom, but we must seek the freedom of Venezuela », he indicated.
