One of the two women shot dead in a “targeted” double murder in Sydney has been identified as a local mum who was known to police.
Lametta Fadlallah, 49, and Amner ‘Amy’ Al Hazouri, 39, were found with gunshot wounds inside a car in Revesby just before 8.50pm on Saturday.
Fadlallah could not be revived and died at the scene.

Al Hazouri was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, where she later died.
Two other people – a 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man – were inside the vehicle at the time but were not injured.
A number of bullets had been shot into the car, Homicide Squad Commander Detective Superintendent Danny Doherty said.
“The 16-year-old girl and a 20-year-old young man with them in the car are incredibly lucky that they were not killed or seriously injured,” Doherty told reporters on Sunday.
Doherty said the women are believed to have been shot in Panania before the vehicle travelled to nearby Revesby and emergency services were called.
He said Fadlallah was a mother-of-two and was known to police through her connections to the underworld, including having a relationship with the now deceased standover man Helal Safi.
“The 48-year-old woman is known to police and has a history of having associations and relationships with other identities that are known to police,” he said.
“Because of that, one theory is that she would have been more than likely the intended target.
“It appears that the… woman sitting next to her is a completely innocent party to all of this.”
Following the shooting, several burnt out cars were found in nearby suburbs, including in Revesby, Yagoona and Moorebank.
“Those vehicles will be forensically examined,” Doherty said.
Police remain at all five crime scenes on Sunday, gathering information on the shooting.

‘Planned murder’
Doherty said the shooting appeared to by methodically planned, and described it as being “unusual and unprecedented”.
“This is an appalling attack on two women,” he said.
“It was a planned murder, an assassination, really, and it’s happened in a public street in Sydney.
“It’s unacceptable by any standards.”
Doherty added police are yet to determine if the incident is linked to organised crime or ongoing gangland feuds.
“All we can tell you is, it was an incredibly violent, horrendous crime where two women have been shot dead in a car,” he said.
“We should be all completely appalled that two women have lost their lives in an unprecedented attack.
“There’s no suggestion of any links to the current conflict, so we are treating this on its own merits and the motive is still unclear.”
Doherty said underworld figures used to operate by “unwritten laws” under which women and children were protected from being attacked – but it appeared these rules no longer applied.
“I think this has just demonstrated how low they’ve got at this point, where any person that may be associated with someone who they want to target … they don’t discriminate, whether you’re male or female,” he said.
“The rule books have been thrown out the window.”
Strike Force Laurantus has been established to investigate the incident.
