TWO MEN WHO have been arrested in relation to the deadly assault of a person in his 50s in Tralee, Co Kerry, have been released without charge.
A person in his 30s, who was arrested yesterday as a part of the investigation into the demise of the person, who has been named locally as Joe Brosnan, was released this morning.
A second man, aged in his 50s, has since been released.
A file will now be ready for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
A garda spokesperson stated investigations into the matter are ongoing.
Shortly after 7pm on Sunday, gardaí and emergency companies attended the scene of an assault at an house within the Abbey Court house complicated in Tralee.
Joe Brosnan was found with severe accidents. He was pronounced lifeless on the scene a short while later.
The native coroner was notified and the companies of the State Pathologist and Garda Technical Bureau have been sought by investigating gardaí.
