This measure contemplates the delivery of a benefit for the country’s lower-income people.
This Friday, August 5, the delivery of the Chile Supports Winter Bonus to more than seven million beneficiaries in the country.
The measure was announced by President Gabriel Boric and contemplates the delivery of a benefit of $120 thousand for the lowest-income people in the country.
For the payment, a date will be opened so that people who withdraw bonuses in person can assist in seeking this help.
Meanwhile, the rest of the beneficiaries will begin to receive the bonus -which has no application- during the third week of August.
At the beginning of the payment, from the government they indicated that will enable a special website where each person through your RUTyou will be able to know if the money belongs to you.

Who will receive the Winter Bonus from August 5?
The first group to be paid from August 5 onwards corresponds to more than 4 million 500 thousand bonds for the following groups:
- Causers of Family, Maternal or Family Allowance (SUF) as of December 31, 2021.
- People who received the 2022 Winter Bonus.
- People with Disability Solidarity Pension Contribution (APSI) or Disability Solidarity Pension (PBSI) as of June 30, 2022.
- Beneficiaries of the Mental Disability Subsidy (SDM) as of June 30, 2022.
It is estimated that close to 80% of the payments will be made through automatic deposits that the IPS will pay into people’s accounts.
When will other people receive the benefit?
The second payroll will be prepared with the information provided by the Ministry of Social Development and Family, according to the update of the Social Registry of Homes that is carried out on August 1. That second payment date -during the month of August- will be informed in a timely manner once the Registry updates have been made.
