The Nation delivered this Thursday eight megaprojects of road infrastructure with which it seeks to improve the highway network in the national territory. There are eight initiatives granted by the National Infrastructure Agency (ANI).

The road concessions that were put into operation They are Pacífico 3, Mar 2, Rumichaca – Pasto, Villavicencio – Yopal, Ruta del Sol 3, Pamplona – Cúcuta, Girardot – Ibagué – Cajamarca and the Metropolitan Area of ​​Cúcuta, and whose total investments exceeded $7.45 billion.

“With the entry into operation of these highways, the fourth generation program (4G) is close to 70% complete and with 13 megaprojects delivered. We have never had so much momentum in the infrastructure of Colombia. And another five 4G megaprojects remain with progress above 90% at the end of the current administration”, said the outgoing president Iván Duque.

In this regard, the Minister of Transportation, Ángela María Orozco, stated: “We ratify the commitment of the national government to connect to the Colombians. Today we are delivering works for more than $7 billion built with the highest standards and that represent enormous benefits”.
