The French paddlers Quentin Urban Y Jeremy Candy have been the winners of the 84th edition of the International Descent of the Sellaproof that it had not been held since 2019 due to the restrictions derived from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Urban and Candy prevailed in a tight sprint with three other Spanish boats to arrive first at the finish line located on the Ribadesella bridge marking a time of one hour, 45 minutes and three seconds.
The French arrived ahead of the K-2 of Walter Bouzan Y Alvaro Fernandez Fiuzawhich were seconds, and of Julio Martinez Y Emilio Calledo, who were third parties. In the sprint, the couple formed by Miguel Llorens Y Albert Square.
