SINGAPORE, May 17 (Xinhua) — Singapore reported 2,664 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the overall tally to 1,247,671.
Among the new cases, 2,602 have been native transmissions and 62 have been imported cases.
Of the native cases, 282 cases have been detected by means of PCR (polymerase chain response) exams and a pair of,320 by means of ART (antigen speedy check) exams, in keeping with the statistics launched by the Ministry of Health.
A complete of 275 cases are presently warded in hospitals, with eight cases in intensive care items.
One demise was reported from COVID-19 on Tuesday, bringing the overall demise toll to 1,367, in keeping with the ministry.
