“After conducting a national search, it was obvious to all of us that Jessica is the perfect person to lead our marketing and creative efforts,” Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Sara Elcano said. “Her experience, passion, energy and creativity will immediately enhance our sports programs and student-athletes, while also taking the fan experience and digital presence to another level for all of Beaver Nation.”
Roswell spent the last three years at UC San Diego in several roles, most recently as the Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement
“I am honored to join the Oregon State Athletics team,” Roswell said. “I would like to thank Sara Elcano and the Oregon State staff for this opportunity to lead Beaver Creative at an exciting time in OSU Athletics history. I am delighted to be a part of a campus and community that puts the student-athlete at the center of their work and will strive to tell their unique and special stories to the world.”
While at UC San Diego, Roswell supervised the planning, coordination, and execution of all marketing, fan experience, and game production for ten strata sports, emphasizing men’s and women’s basketball. She also collaborated with all units within external operations for game production, event marketing, collateral, and other design elements including creative services, sponsorship, communications, video production, and events.
Roswell worked at Pacific Lutheran University from 2015-19 as an Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing, Promotions and Social Media. She was a Graduate Marketing Specialist for Mihaylo Career Services at her alma mater, Cal State Fullerton, from 2014-15.
She has been a member of the National Association for Collegiate Marketing Administrators and the Women Leaders in College Sports since 2015.
Roswell attended Cal State Fullerton and earned her bachelor’s degree in communications and her master’s degree in marketing.
