Orbeln Pineda debut as a scorer of the AEK of Athens with a great goal in the preseason against Omonia Nicosia.
The Mexican showed off with a player at minute 21, taking the ball by the left sector, making a diagonal towards the center, removing a couple of defenses to release a shot that hung on the squad.
Pineda made his debut a couple of weeks ago in a friendly against Genk, the team where Gerardo Arteaga plays, but he did not score until Friday, in the last preseason game for the squad he directs Matas Almeyda, that debut the following week in the Greek Super League against Volos.
The Mexican came to Hellenic football on loan from the Celta Vigo, a team that only hired him in the winter market, but practically did not count for Eduardo Coudet. He had offers to return to Mexico, but he preferred to find regularity before the World Cup with AEK, who signed Matas Almeyda, the coach with whom he was champion with Chivas in Clausura 2017.
