In this sense, the health entity explained that in just 24 hours, 46 new patients who tested positive for monkeypox were reported.
According to minsa, The cases are spread over 17 regions: Lima, Callao, Ica, La Libertad, Tacna, Loreto, Piura, Cusco, Áncash, Junín, Arequipa, Ucayali, Cajamarca, Huánuco, San Martín, Lambayeque.
On Twitter, the Minsa specified that there are 880 cases in Metropolitan Lima, 9 in Lima provinces, 68 in Callao, 4 in Ica, 47 in La Libertad, 3 in Loreto, 2 in Cajamarca, 22 in Arequipa, 7 in Cusco, 4 in Áncash, 3 in Junín, 2 in Huánuco, 3 in Lambayeque, 4 in Ucayali, 2 in Tacna and 6 in Piura.

In the case of rashes, these usually appear at first or third day of the onset of fever. The lesions can be of two types: flat or slightly raised, filled with transparent or yellowish liquid. After this process, scabs form, dry and fall off on their own. The number of these injuries varies from just a few to thousands.
As has been observed in the recorded cases of monkeypox, the most common is that the rashes appear on the face, the palms of the hands and the soles of the feet. However, they could appear in the mouth, genitals, and eyes.
It is worth mentioning that these symptoms last approximately between 15 days and a month. These usually go away on their own, without treatment.
