I went out and I see how his eye is bleeding, he leans against a wall and begins to spurt blood from his mouth”, recounted the young merchant through tears.
Noticing the seriousness of the wound, Jesica used an apron that she had with her to cover the bullet hole and stop the boy’s bleeding. “He was talking to his mom and he said ‘mom, they shot me, I’m in the Chinese.’ I helped him sit down and told him ‘stay and talk to me, nothing more’, the woman recalled, visibly affected by what had happened.
