Junior from Barranquilla celebrates its 98 years of history this Sunday, the same day that it faces the Once Caldas by sixth day of the BetPlay League 2022-II.
Review below the annotations of the duel that is played in the Metropolitan:
Junior 0-1 Once Caldas – Ayron del Valle (26′)
Despite the parties in the junior stands, the opening of the scoreboard came at the expense of the visiting cast. Before the half hour mark was up, a reckless grab inside the area by Freddy Hinestroza on Ayron del Valle was sanctioned as the maximum penalty.
Del Valle himself took charge of the charge and with a cross shot he overcame Sebastián Viera’s resistance.
Junior 1-1 Once Caldas – Fabián Sambueza (67′)
The equality arrived thanks to a new projection of Freddy Hinestroza by left sector. The winger raised a passed center that Edwuin Cetré lowered at the far post.
Although Daniel Giraldo wanted to control, he ended up assisting Fabian Sambueza who came from behind and with an accurate volley decreed equality. The Metropolitan was collapsing.

Junior 1-2 Once Caldas – Marlon Piedrahita (90+5′)
When it seemed that everything ended in a draw, the visiting team took the three points. A distant free kick to the junior area became a clear scoring option for Eleven.
Marlon Piedrahíta, with a shark past, executed a powerful free kick from almost 30 meters that deflected into the barrier and ended up dislodging goalkeeper Sebastián Viera.
