INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb will likely be touring to Switzerland for the gathering of worldwide enterprise and authorities leaders on the World Economic Forum, his workplace introduced Friday.
The Republican governor is scheduled to take part in a panel dialogue Monday in Davos about high-tech manufacturing with enterprise and labor union executives.
“Davos 2022 facilitates conversations between global thinkers, international dignitaries, government and business leaders to share their visions for the year ahead,” Holcomb stated in a press release. “I’m proud to represent Indiana on a world stage to discuss all the innovative ways Hoosiers can be part of the solution regarding the myriad of challenges facing our state and world today.”
Forum organizers count on greater than 2,500 members from enterprise, civil society, media and authorities to attend, together with greater than 50 heads of state and authorities. It is the primary in-person assembly of the discussion board in two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Holcomb is scheduled to journey to Switzerland on Saturday and return to Indiana on Monday. The journey’s price is being paid by way of personal contributions to the Indiana Economic Development Foundation, the governor’s workplace stated.
