Just three days before the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked celebration, there are already real photos of some of the devices that will be presented; Let’s say that Samsung has not been able to stop the leaks, because there are already people who have mobile phones in their hands.

In this case, it has been @noh_tech on Twitter who has been the first to show real photos of the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the new Galaxy Z Fold 4, revealing some of the changes that the new generation brings (although not many).
So are the new Samsung folding
Indeed, as suspected, the new Samsung foldables are very similar to the above, to the point that they can be difficult to distinguish from the third generation. This is especially noticeable in the Galaxy Z Flip 4, the clamshell phone that opens up to offer a full-size screen.
At first glance, it is doubtful that anyone can distinguish it from the Galaxy Z Flip 3, unless you look closely or have the two phones side by side. There are differences, of course, especially around the edges where we see a new metallic finish, but otherwise they’re identical.
Instead, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 looks a little different from the Galaxy Z Fold 3. It seems that the outer screen is different, a little wider and therefore with a more familiar proportion. Let’s remember that the Fold 3 had a very tall and thin outer screen, a technical limitation rather than a conscious decision on the part of Samsung; everything indicates that the company has managed to break with that limitation, judging by the published photos. Another detail that differentiates the Fold 4 from its predecessor is in the central hinge, which now seems smaller.
But what you may really be wondering is whether Samsung has managed to solve the big problem with folding phones: the central crease that forms on the flexible screen after a few uses.
In the first foldables, this was a real problem, since the screen tends to rise in the hinge area, creating a noticeable ‘bulge’ both to the touch and to the eye, seriously affecting the experience. With the last generation, Samsung has already implemented some solutions, but since then we have seen great progress in this regard, such as the Oppo Find N.
Judging by the published photos, everything indicates that these improvements have continued, although Samsung has not been able to completely eliminate the central crease in the screen; It’s still visible in the photos, but thankfully, it doesn’t seem as bothersome or noticeable. However, until we have the mobile in our hands and we can tell you about it in person, for now it is better not to speculate.
