“The leaves are wilted and are hanging limp, and it is fairly apparent that there is moisture stress, so underneath these conditions they don’t seem to be going to be rising vigorously.

“Looking at them probably just makes the person stressed.

He said they were hoping for another 25mm of rain.

Average winter tipped for southern WA
