Werder Bremen scored three late goals, including a couple of injury-time strikes, to hand Borussia Dortmund their first defeat of the German Bundesliga 2022-23 season on Saturday. In a dramatic match at Signal Iduna Park, Lee Buchanan (89′), Niklas Schmidt (90+3′) and Oliver Burke (90+5′) scored for Bremen to overturn a 0-2 deficit into a win. Later, RB Leipzig also suffered a 1-2 defeat at Union Berlin. In other gameweek three matches, Borussia Monchengladbach, Mainz, Freiburg and Hoffenheim also registered wins.
