Swiss crane firm Clausen Kran has taken supply of a 150 tonne Liebherr LTM 1150-5.3 All Terrain crane and a 90 tonne LRT 1090-2.1 Rough Terrain, the primary in Switzerland.
Owner Geri Clausen mentioned: “The LTM 1150-5.3 is a powerful all-rounder allowing flexible use thanks to its variable driving conditions. Its five axles make it very compact and manoeuvrable. With the detachable boom, it also offers a great advantage for a variety of operations in our mountainous region.”
Co-owner Cornelia Clausen-Ogi added: “The LRT 1090-2.1 Rough Terrain is an ideal addition to our crane fleet, enabling us to offer our customers customised solutions for their projects.”
The 5 axle LTM 1150-5.3 is provided with a 66 metre, seven part important growth plus a bi-fold swingaway extension that offsets by as much as 40 levels. A seven metre insert may be added to take the utmost tip peak to nearly 95 metres and most radius to 72 metres. It may carry 9 tonnes of counterweight inside 12 tonne axle loadings.
The new crane might be used for putting in and dismantling tower cranes, together with work in chemical crops, energy stations and on mountain cable automotive initiatives. The proven fact that it may be simply stripped right down to an all up weight of 31 tonnes is a perfect attribute for mountain purposes.
The 90 tonne LRT 1090-2.1 includes a 47 metre important growth and a ten.5 to 19 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with as much as 40 levels of offset. It comes customary with the Liebherr VarioBase mechanically variable outrigger base and wider tilting cab.
Clausen Kran was established in 1972. The fleet presently consists of seven cell and crawler cranes with lifting capacities of as much as 250 tonnes in addition to three heavy responsibility tractor models.
