Farm Credit of the Virginias recently announced that Nathan Lantor joined the South Boston branch as a loan officer.
Lantor was born and raised in South Boston. He has a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Radford University in Radford, and a master’s degree in educational administration from Averett University in Danville.
Previously, Lantor held roles as a high school history teacher and as alternative education director with Halifax County Public Schools. He also currently serves as an assistant basketball coach at Halifax County High School and runs children’s basketball camps in the summer.
“I am excited to bring energy, enthusiasm and a dedication to improving my community by establishing beneficial relationships,” he said. “I enjoy helping others reach their goals and look forward to doing that here in South Boston.”

We are excited to see how he continues to grow and serve our members in South Boston.”
In his spare time, Lantor enjoys coaching basketball, playing golf and being a dad.
