Due to the rise in the minimum wage to 400 thousand pesos, the Family Subsidy will also experience increases.

The Single Family Subsidy (SUF) is a state benefit that is paid monthly to mothers, fathers or guardians who do not have social securityly they do not have sufficient resources for the maintenance of their family responsibilities.
The benefit is directed to mother, parents, guardians who are in charge to the minor(s) and natural persons who are responsible for a disabled person of any age who lives at their expense and who are pregnant (receive the Maternal Subsidy).
What are the new amounts of the Single Family Subsidy?
Due to the wage readjustment, which increases the minimum salary up to $400.00 thousand pesos, the amounts of the Family Subsidy also rose. As of August 1, the new amounts are:
- 1 cause: $16,418
- 2 causes: $32,836
- 3 causes: $49,254
- 4 causes: $65,672
- 5 causes: $82,090
- 6 causes: $98,508
- 7 causes: $114,926
- 8 causes: $131,344
- 9 causes: $147,762
- 10 causes: $164,970
If any of the deceased has physical or cognitive disability, the amount of the SUF will be $32,836 for that person.
How to apply?
The procedure can be performed throughout the year. For it, you should approach your municipality, the one that will be in charge of verifying the quality of beneficiary and the existence of the requirements and antecedents.
