The Court of Instruction number 5 of Valladolid keeps the proceedings open for the violent death of Esther López, found lifeless in a ditch in Traspinedo (Valladolid), an event for which three people are in the case as investigated, Oscar, Ramon and Carolo. The three, according to their own statements, could be the last to see the victim alive in the early hours of Thursday, January 13.
The Civil Guard continues to carry out investigations and a report from the Accident Reconstruction team of the Civil Guard Traffic Group reflects that Esther López could have been run over by an SUV or 4×4 type vehicle.
“From the numerous simulations carried out with the PC-Crash program, using tourism-type vehicles, SUV or 4×4-type vehicles, and flat-front vans, it is concluded that the type of vehicle that provides the greatest coincidence with the main injuries presented by the pedestrian supposedly run over are the so-called SUV or 4×4 type“, according to the study, sources of the case have informed Efe.
Óscar, the main suspect for the Civil Guard
One of the victim’s friends, Óscar, who has always maintained his innocence, stated that He left her at a crossroads in the early morning, near the El Romeral de Traspinedo urbanization, where he was lost until his body was found.
Among the investigations carried out by the Civil Guard, there is the four-day inspection of Óscar’s home and the registration and sampling of his car, a gray Volkswagen T-Roc.
Now, the Civil Guard report has revealed that the damage or anomalies located in a gray T-Roc vehicle -supposedly that of Óscar- are confined to the front right area and consist of a dent in the plastic material in the upper area of the bumper.
They also consist of a scratch on the right side of the bonnet and a small dent in the upper edge of the hood and the upper apex of the right wing, as well as a gap in the front fog lamp on that side.
The autopsy performed on Esther López, 35, after the discovery of the lifeless body, revealed that the death was of accidental or homicidal etiology due to a hit and the immediate cause of death was a multifactorial shock.
