The Chemical Company (EQUIFA), of Cienfuegos, maintains links with the “Marta Abreus” universities, of Las Villas and of this southern province to favor the learning of the students of careers related to the profile of the industry once known as Fertilizers.
The foregoing was expressed by Laritza Martínez Pérez, Technical Director of EQUIFA, and added that during the internships of the university students, the exchanges with the specialists of the productive areas stand out with emphasis on the identification of valid topics to develop research projects.
Through the open doors modality in the student offices, meetings also take place to socialize among future engineers the possibilities of linking practice with theory at the end of the study time.
By the way, the Chemical Worker’s Day, celebrated last July 1, is the most recent date on which several students from the University of Cienfuegos toured the plants of the southern industry and the Fertilizer Production Base Business Unit (NPK ), pointed out Martínez Pérez, and they left satisfied with the details exposed by those consecrated in this, one of the Cienfuegos industries where a remarkable sense of belonging prevails.
EQUIFA Cienfuegos emerged on April 27, 2005; maintains 12 production lines and the liquid detergent, chlorine bleach, talcum powder, colognes and nail polish remover stand out, the latter product being restored at the end of the first half of 2022.
