In the capital, with 96.80% of the polling stations counted, the current mayor, Norma Fuentes, achieved her re-election with 45.40% of the vote (64,398), and a wide advantage over second place, the opposition candidate, Together for Cambio, Natalia Neme, who obtained 28.26% of the votes (40,082), while Fernando Giménez, the candidate of the Renovador Front, came in third place with 8.45% of the votes (11,987).

In the city of La Banda, the second most important in the province, with 76.64% of the polling stations counted, the current mayor Roger Nediani, of the Renovating and Progressive Front, won his re-election with 36.68% of the votes. (17,667), leaving as second force the candidate of the Civic Front for Santiago, Llamil Abdala, with 31.68% of votes (15,260) and far below as third force the Viable Patriotic Front with 18.33% of the votes (8,830) .
