Inexplicable. In the evening hours of this Friday, August 5, the decision of the Judiciary was announced regarding the accusations against the parliamentarian of Alianza Para el Progreso (APP), Freddy Diazwho had been accused by one of his workers of having sexually assaulted her.
In this sense, the Supreme Court of Preparatory Investigation only established the impediment to leave the country for Díaz for a period of 9 months, an opinion imposed by Judge Juan Carlos Checkley Soria, taking into consideration the request given by the Public Ministry, in the framework of the investigations that are followed in the case that involves the legislator.

Although the Second Supreme Criminal Prosecutor’s Office had also requested the preliminary arrest of Freddy Díaz, which was ruled out by the Judiciary, that after evaluating the reasons given by the MP, he decided to declare the petition unfounded.
For his part, Judge Checkley Soria ordered the sending of an ex officio document to the National Superintendence of Migration, so that they can specify the devices of the coercive measure against Díaz Monago.

The accusation against Freddy Díaz
On July 27, the legislator was denounced by a worker in his office, who accused Díaz of having sexually assaulted her while they were talking in an office in Jirón Azángaro.
This situation led to the opening of a judicial investigation against the congressman, who appeared publicly to give his version of the events four days after the case became known, time in which it was as it did not exist.
