The member of the Political Bureau and Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, received this Friday the special envoy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Alma Augusta Adams, bearer of the official invitation to the Cuban Government to attend the Governmental Meeting of the Caricom, which will take place this month in Nassau.
The appointment will be preparatory to the upcoming United Nations Conference on Climate Change in 2022 (COP27).
Sent by the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Philip Edward Davis, the distinguished visitor and the Cuban Vice President held a meeting that took place in a cordial atmosphere, and was also attended by Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Rodolfo Benítez Verson, general director of Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
