In the Dominican Summer League, the teams of the New York Mets and the St. Louis Cardinals faced each other, but in the middle of the match, tempers flared and things got worse.
Both teams faced each other, although the umpires and managers of both teams tried to calm things down, the players went to blows. The brawl lasted several minutes and the match was never resumed.

The problem arose because a player from the Metropolitans hit a home run and at the time of celebrating the hit he exceeded.
When the next player took his turn, he received a ball in the ribs and that is where the conflict arose.
