Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have returned from the summer break at a pace unmatched by their rivals. Although the Bavarian team aims to be champions for the eleventh consecutive time, a historic milestone in European football, Julian Nagelsmann’s men have started the season like a shot, passing over Eintracht Frankfurt, who have their heads in the final of the European Super Cup against Real Madrid.
The departure of Robert Lewandowski does not seem to weigh on Bayern, which continues to be a scoring machine. In just 45 minutes, the Bavarian giants gave Frankfurt a hand thanks to goals from Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Pavard, Sadio Mané, Jamal Musiala and Serge Gnabry. The locals discounted with a goal from Kolo after an error in Manuel Neuer’s exit. Gnabry would give the finishing touch with a double in the 83rd minute. Life goes on the same and Bayern have not taken their foot off the accelerator.
