The TikTok user @sof.otero, who in recent days has given something to talk about by pointing to the Sonora Grill Restaurant for being racist with its clients and workers, responded to the local PAN deputy, America Rangelafter she said that she was not discriminated against for being a brunette when she went to eat at one of her branches.
“Many people were asking me why I was attacking a Mexican company that gave work to so many Mexicans… and I say, yes, work, but decent work?” tiktoker after Deputy Rangel mentioned that she took the opportunity to eat at the aforementioned restaurant, “a Mexican company that invests and generates jobs in the country,” she said.
In the video, the tiktoker responds to the panista:
“I’m going to explain to you why that argument doesn’t make sense: remember something very simple, you are political and what do you think? that they don’t give us indications to treat politicians in a certain way, especially having a Sonora Grill next to the Chamber of Senators?”, mentioned the complainant.

Racism when he went for a vacancy
The user also mentions that another example of racism that the restaurant chain applies was when she went for the hostess vacancy, since she had no experience and even with that they gave her the position, despite the fact that there was another woman looking for the same work and had experience, but was hired to be a dishwasher, because of her skin color.
“Some time later, this same gentleman [el gerente]told me that the reason they hired me is because even though I had no experience, I was the person who best fulfilled the image they were looking for,” he said.
Likewise, he denounced that the work hours they extended to 10 hours or more and that they were not paid as extras, but they tried to compensate with raffles and a meal that they gave one month a month.
Regarding the waiters, he said that they work more than eight hours “and it is not this proudly Mexican company that helps them survive, it is the clients with their tips,” said the tiktoker.
