Two Rivers – Robert B. Koenig, age 84, longtime resident of Two Rivers, handed away Tuesday afternoon, May 17, 2022 and is now at house along with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Bob was born in Denmark on July 5, 1937 to Eli and Evelyn (Jensen) Koenig and attended college in Denmark. On December 27, 1958, he was united in marriage to Alice A. Swagel in Kewaunee. She preceded him in loss of life on October 3, 2017. Bob retired on the age of 64 after a few years of service with the Mirro Corporation, and after retirement labored half-time for a number of years at Napa Auto Parts. In prior years, he additionally was employed as a employee within the building of the Two Creeks and Kewaunee Nuclear Plants. He loved searching, and all sports activities, particularly the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Braves and Brewers. Funeral companies will likely be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022 on the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th Street, Two Rivers. Pastor Mark Brunn will officiate on the service, with burial to comply with in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers.
