Getting the Foo Fighters to Italy in Doc ‘We Are The Thousand’ Trailer

“It’s not an impossible dream after all. We could make it come true.” Breaking Glass Pictures has revealed an official US trailer for a documentary movie titled We Are The Thousand, which is lastly opening in the US this summer time after initially debuting in Italy again in 2020. What is the world’s biggest rock band? A thousand musicians and followers collect in Cesena, Italy to have fun their favourite, the Foo Fighters. The movie tells the story of 1 Foo Fighter fan named Fabio, who lives and works in a small city named Cesena (see Google Maps). His purpose was to persuade Dave Grohl to come go to and play there. He created a video of 1,000 musicians from throughout Italy gathering in this city to play “Learn to Fly”. Soon afterward, Grohl obtained the message and he determined to make the dream of the thousand come true by bringing the Foo Fighters to play in the village of Cesena. Awesome! This jogs my memory of the Searching for Sugar Man doc as properly. It looks as if an inspiring story to inform about how music transcends all borders and convey us collectively. Rock on, Fabio!

That was the starting of an unbelievable journey that created the largest group of rock music lovers, and adjusted the lives of many individuals. Forever. We Are The Thousand is directed by Italian filmmaker Anita Rivaroli, making her characteristic directorial debut after working as a narrative editor, plus as a author on the “Summertime” sequence. This initially opened in Italy in 2020 and it performed at quite a few festivals together with IDFA, SXSW, and Docs Against Gravity. We Are The Thousand opens in choose US theaters + on VOD beginning on June third, 2022.
