Olivia Podmore’s household are hopeful that the most recent report into Cycling New Zealand and High Performance Sport New Zealand will see modifications made throughout the organisations so her death will not be in vain.

Podmore, an Olympic biking consultant for New Zealand, died out of the blue final August aged simply 24, prompting an impartial inquiry into the high-performance system.

Nine months on, Podmore’s mom Nienke and husband Chris Middleton say they nonetheless miss her humour, laughter and her life.
