The announcement was made by ONPE through its social networks, specifying that it began sending the first emails on Monday, August 15. Previously, the entity had indicated that they would do so from September 1.

Information about the assigned polling place is being sent by email to the people who used the “Choose your polling place” platform at the time. On that occasion, the citizens chose a list of locals, according to their preference, and waited for the ONPE to assign them one.

The deadline for voters to choose their polling places expired on June 5 of this year.
