Ryan Tubridy has confirmed that this year’s Late Late Toy Show will take place on Friday, 25 November, with applications now invited from the young stars of 2022.
The host was joined on his RTÉ Radio 1 show on Monday morning by 12-year-old DJ Calum Kieran, one of the stars of last year’s show alongside his five-year-old brother Jackson.

Announcing that applications are now open on the Late Late Show website, the presenter told listeners: “We are going to go large this year. I had a great chat about it last week, and it’s going to be very, very special indeed.”
Offering advice to young applicants, DJ Calum said: “Just be yourself. Take your time. Have fun. And practice and make sure your video is ok! Even just a half an hour, fifteen minutes a day – that’s all it takes.”
Having supported DJ Jenny Greene at her Iveagh Gardens show during the summer, Calum added that he is very busy with “communions, confirmations, even 21sts, weddings”.
