Havana, Aug 7 (Red Web) The first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) in the province of Matanzas, Susely Morfa González reported this Sunday afternoon that the flames in the first tank set on fire in the industrial zone of that city.
In her Twitter account, the partisan leader specified that only white smoke emanates from said deposit, impacted last Friday by an electrical discharge that unleashed a fire of enormous proportions.
Morfa González details that the second tank is still in combustion and deformed, and the third maintains its structure in good condition, and is cooled with water at intervals to maintain an adequate temperature that prevents a fire.

For more than 36 hours, firefighters, special brigades of the Revolutionary Armed Forces, the Red Cross and other groups trained in the containment and extinction of fires in Cuba have been fighting hard to control the flames.
In the early hours of this Sunday, specialized teams sent by the Governments of Mexico and Venezuela arrived at the ‘Juan Gualberto Gómez’ airport in Varadero, also in the province of Matanzas, to support the confrontation with the incident.
