JLL’s Future Of Real Estate Events To Examine The Key Role Of Real Estate In A Rapidly Changing Commercial World – Up Jobs News

August, 2022 – Next week, JLL NZ will
bring together global leaders from across the commercial
property spectrum for half-day events in Wellington and
Auckland that will shine a spotlight on how the industry is
adapting not only to economic and geopolitical turbulence,
but to increasingly urgent social and environmental
imperatives.

The two events will bring together
subject matter experts from JLL’s New Zealand, Australian
and Singapore businesses and those at the coalface of change
in our two major cities to share valuable insights and look
at the specific challenges and solutions that lie ahead for
them.

“The emergence of flexible working, gaps in
the supply chain, contactless retail and the near constant
warnings of the impact of climate change have dramatically
altered the way in which we interact with property, while
recent rising inflation has created a more challenging
funding environment for investors and developers,” says
JLL NZ’s Managing Director, Todd Lauchlan.

“As an
industry we have the tools to meet the changing needs of
businesses, consumers and employees across all the sectors
we cover. Through our global and domestic network, JLL is
central to this evolution, and we’re excited to be able to
facilitate discussions that will ultimately benefit all New
Zealanders.”

Both events will feature intimate,
interactive panel discussions with industry experts across
the office, retail, hospitality, industrial and logistics
areas, as well as keynote presentations on the prevailing
economic picture.

Additionally, the Wellington event
will take an in-depth look at the impact of seismic
strengthening requirements on the city’s real estate
market, while Auckland’s will also feature sessions on the
rapidly emerging property technology scene, debt advisory
and the ‘alternative investment’ sector, which covers
burgeoning markets such as retirement villages and build to
rent.

Limited places are still available for The
Future of Real Estate Wellington, which will be held on
Monday August 15 from 1-4.30pm at the InterContinental
Wellington. The Auckland event, which is fully subscribed,
takes place at the Park Hyatt in Wynyard Quarter from 1-5pm
on Thursday August 18. More details on the two events and a
