This event hosts mainly Japanese developers and publishers. While it used to be a fairly important video game convention in the international community, many of the Western companies that usually show up have recently established themselves more firmly at other English-speaking events.

3. PAX East (March 23-26, 2023)

The GDC lasts five days and shows the latest developments from leading technology companies such as Amazon, Google, Intel, Microsoft, Nvidia, Oculus, Sony and Unreal Engine.

Highlights include GDC Play, where attendees can play titles from independent developers; and alt.ctrl.GDC, which allows you to play using alternate controllers.

This event is mandatory attendance for those who are experts in the industry. It is intended for programmers, artists, producers, game designers, sound professionals, etc.

6. E3 (June 2023)

This trade show involves the announcement of upcoming games in the industry. In addition, E3 attracts audiences of approximately 50,000 people.

7. Blizzcon (November 2023)

This event takes place in November of each year in San Francisco, California, United States. The last time this convention was held was in 2019.
