Apple could prepare news in the HomePod range, according to the popular journalist Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
Its latest newsletter “Power On” points out that the HomePod will return in early 2023, while the HomePod mini will receive some kind of update in the future.
After stopping sales of the larger HomePod in March 2021, rumors that a new model is on the way have been frequent. Concurring with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s comments, Gurman states that HomePod could launch in early 2023
Gurman believes that Apple is also thinking of doing an upgrade to your HomePod mini. Although he doesn’t outline what those changes might be, Gurman says the changes won’t be “super impressive” to users.
Aside from the HomePod family, Apple is also believed to be working on a number of other “Home” products, including the rumored device that combines a HomePod with an Apple TV and a FaceTime camera. Gurman also conjectures that an iPad-like kitchen device on a robotic arm could be on the way.
These new devices could arrive in late 2023 or early 2024, Gurman proposes.
