Provincial Electric Company announces new planning – Up Jobs News

Given the energy contingency that the country is experiencing, the Artemisa Electric Company announced a new planning for generation deficit, which came into force as of 10:00 am this Sunday, August 7.

According to Yamilka Fernández Pérez, commercial director of the aforementioned company, “the province outlined the strategy of forming two blocks of 73 megawatts (MW) to rotate five hours, since with the deficit that we were presenting, the territory reached up to 70 MW, and we had three blocks of 50 with a rotation of four hours”.

In this regard, he explained that “each client was planned according to the schedule that should have a blackout and involuntarily it was necessary to affect them outside of this, due to the needs of the National Electroenergetic System, which created discomfort in the population.”

He also pointed out that these adjustments are made based on covering the maximum deficit presented at a given time and “not having to affect the circuits after hours, or twice.

“We believe that this planning will be more effective and clients can be scheduled based on defined schedules,” he added.

This Sunday the province has a deficit of 55 MW.
