The approval of the Congress of the Republic closed the first year of the legislative period with the lowest approval, equivalent to only 10%, according to the latest study made by the Institute of Peruvian Studies (IEP), in alliance with the Republic.
The present poll has a margin of error of 2.8 points and the field work was done between August 1 and 4; that is, when María del Carmen Alva (Popular Action) finished closing her management.

Last June, the approval of the Legislature was already at a low level, in the order of 12%, and in May the figure was 10%. In good account, the congressmen they failed to reverse the adverse figures. They started in August 2021 with 31% and close the first year with only 10%.

However, the same study reports an annual balance with dismal results. 27% believe that the Executive’s first year has been bad and 26% consider it very bad.
The same goes for the Congress: 32% assume it is bad and 21% very bad. Both powers of Condition add up to 53% of poor or very poor performance.
