The Venezuela U12 Baseball Team lost in its last game of the Super Round against the United States 12 to 7, so the North Americans will be the home team in the final to be held on Sunday.
The United States opened the game trying to win early with three homers in the first inning to take a 4-0 lead.

Venezuela responded in the third inning, pitcher José Lobo discounted the first with a single and then Ayverson Torrealba hit his first home run of the tournament with two teammates on base to tie the score at four apiece.

The United States regained the lead with two runs in the bottom of the third before Daniel Pérez hit the wall in the fourth to cut the score 6-5.
However, the United States responded with two in the bottom of the fourth and another four in the fifth to open the scoreboard 12-5.

The Team showed determination in the face of adversity by responding with two runs in the sixth with a home run by Daniel Pérez, to leave the final scoreboard in favor of the United States 12-7.
Offensively, Daniel Pérez stood out for Venezuela by going 3-2 with three RBIs and two runs scored with two home runs. Ayverson Torrralba hit 1-3 with a home run, runs scored and three RBIs.
Sebastián Das Neves hit 2-2 with a run scored and José Lobo 2-1 with a run scored and RBI.
Venezuela will play on Sunday at 6:30 am its first final in its history in the tournament against the United States.
Team Baseball Venezuela has already secured a silver medal and podium and its best performance in the history of the category, however, it will seek to add the trophy to its showcases and thus achieve its second world trophy for the country in all categories in consecutive years.
