A tragedy occurred in the commune of Hualaihué, where a vehicle fell into the waters of the Lleguiman River, in the Los Lagos region, ending the lives -for now- of at least 4 people. Emergency and rescue personnel worked in the area.
A terrible accident occurred during the night of this Friday in the Hualaihue Commune, in the Los Lagos region, where a vehicle fell into the waters of the river Lleguimán causing the death of 4 people.
According to police reports, the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m., specifically in the Route W-609 at kilometer 34.8, on the Lleguiman bridge.
Unfortunately, preliminary it would be the death of an entire family on the southern highway.
After an alert from the Fire Department, Carabineros went to verify a traffic accident in which a vehicle was involved. For reasons under investigation, its driver would have lost control and fell into the river.
Emergency personnel reported that so far the bodies of two adults plus one girl, being also found a fourth person that has not yet been recognized.
In addition, it was detailed that still the search for a fifth person continues who would also have been inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
As a result of this, staff of the Legal Medical Service (SML) of the Police SIAT they are doing work. All of them keep moving to continue with the necessary skills after this delicate accident in the Lleguiman river.
