This Friday night was dyed red as it was recorded a shooting in the community of San José el Nuevo in Celaya, Guanajuato, who took the life of 8 people and left five wounds.
According to the Celaya Citizen Security Secretariat (SSCC), the events were recorded in a speakeasy, called “The Three Amigos”located in the vicinity of the community.
When a man entered the place armed group that opened fire indiscriminate against diners. Subsequently, they fled in vehicles and motorcycles, according to the testimonies collected by the authorities.
After an emergency call, the authorities went to the scene where They located several people with bullet wounds. and requested the assistance of emergency personnel to be treated.
According to local media reports, among the victims are employees and clients, while the injured would all be male.
Consequently, a search and locate operation in coordination with personnel from the State Public Security Forces (FSPE), elements of the National Guard and the Secretary of National Defense (Sedena) with the aim of finding the alleged perpetrators.
Despite the confirmation of the attack by the authorities, the mayor of Celaya, Javier Mendoza Marquezhas not issued any statement or the Attorney General of the State of Guanajuato.
The entity has gone through several periods of violence due to clashes between criminal groups operating in the state such as the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG)whose attacks and executions have caused fear within the region
And this is not the first massacre that has taken place in the municipality, since on May 23, a group of assassins broke into a hotel in the municipality in which 12 people were killed.
It was about the Hotel Gala de Celaya located in the Valle Hermoso neighborhood. After the events, public security personnel of the entity were notified of siparos and fires in the place. Upon arrival they found several bodies on the public road, so they entered the building.
Inside they found 8 men and two women riddled with bullets. Similarly, they found narco-messages in the place, written on three pieces of cardboard.
After the proceedings carried out by the authorities, searches were carried out searches in various addresses of the entitythrough which they achieved insure one of the used vehicles for suspected criminals on the attackin addition to a firearm carried out by assassins.
