A large-scale fire occurred this Friday in a crude fuel storage tank in the industrial zone of Matanzas, caused by an electrical discharge, reported TV Yumuri.
Firefighters and workers from the Cupet Territorial Division are working to put out the flames, journalist Karel Ricardo Roque said on his Facebook profile.
“Authorities, fire department, MININT, the FAR are on the spot. Confidence that the situation will be controlled, ”the first secretary of the Party in the province, Susely Morfa González, shared on her Twitter account.
